WHAT WE DO

Selecting the right tree species for the right location at an optimal planting density

Outback Carbon has extensive experience in the carbon industry and in managing all aspects of offset projects, from feasibility to implementation, reporting and compliance to long term management of forests.

Our carbon farming work is done hand-in-hand with agricultural practices that enhance the capacity of soil and vegetation to capture and store carbon from the atmosphere and release oxygen from the carbon dioxide molecule back into the atmosphere – this process of storing carbon in soil and plants is known as carbon sequestration.

The team’s expertise in the carbon industry spans restoration ecology, forestry, agriculture, project execution and delivery, commercial evaluation, geospatial & data analysis and compliance reporting.

In addition, expert subject consultants and contractors are utilised when specialised services are required.
